HEATEC HEATING AND PLUMBING LIMITED

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 2 July 2026 · Governing law: England and Wales

Heatecph is a record-keeping and quote-preparation workspace. This policy explains what you may use it for and, importantly, what it will not do. Using the service means you agree to these limits.

Intended use

  • Writing plain-language records of what you can see in your home.
  • Preparing questions to ask a licensed professional.
  • Building a photo checklist so a quote can be more accurate.
  • Keeping a personal household maintenance log over time.

The workspace will not produce

  • Operating or repair steps for gas, electrical, structural, roofing or pressurised (heating/water) systems.
  • Anything presented as a safety certification, inspection report, insurance claim, construction specification or emergency service.
  • Instructions to install, dismantle, modify or bypass any appliance, meter or safety device.
  • Diagnosis of a fault or a guarantee about cause, cost or outcome.

If you ask for any of the above, the correct outcome is a record and a set of questions to raise with a qualified professional — not the restricted content itself.

You must contact a licensed professional

For any actual issue, you must contact a suitably qualified, licensed local professional to confirm the problem and carry out any work. Do not act on a draft alone. In an emergency, contact the relevant local emergency service.

Prohibited conduct

  • Uploading other people’s personal or sensitive data without a lawful basis.
  • Using outputs to mislead a professional, insurer or authority.
  • Attempting to make the service generate restricted repair or safety instructions.
  • Reselling or redistributing outputs as certified or professional advice.

Enforcement

We may limit or suspend accounts that breach this policy. Questions about acceptable use can go to our contact page. See also the AI Disclaimer and Terms of Service.
